In RS Shipping we operate a wide range of vessel types with the essential features for various types of forest products such as pulp, paper reels and timber.

Project, and Heavy Lift cargo

We take pride in our well skilled personnel and exercise caution for this type of cargo, in order to stow, secure and transport Project and Heavy Lift cargo seamlessly in our boxed shaped vessels (geared or gearless). Our high standard services meet the demanding project requirements of the rail, power, oils & gas, mining and infrastructure industries.

Wind Energy equipment

The wind turbine industry is expanding, in terms of both newly installed turbines and average turbine capacity, playing a major role at the Global Renewable Energy industry and world economy. The number and the size of the turbines are rising. This results into an increased need for sea carriage as the most suitable way of transporting this commodity. RS Shipping is in close cooperation with major manufacturers in the industry and can accommodate this type of cargo at their operating fleet (open hatch, box shaped, one hold up to 72 m long).

Steel cargo

Steel cargo accounts for the largest share of the breakbulk cargo sector. Despite being considered a durable material, steel demands great attention throughout all stages of its shipment (loading/securing and lashing/sea carriage). We take all the appropriate measures (i.e. handling equipment, de-humidifiers, etc.) to ensure that beams, coils, plates, bars, ingots, rails, pipes, or other steel cargo, are handled and shipped safely.
